APSA is a multidisciplinary association of professionals who work with, care for and care about adolescents.
An introduction to APSA
Our aims are to promote the study, understanding and care of adolescents, generate new thinking about adolescent care, both residential and community based, for professionals working in this field.
We have an equal opportunities policy which encourages membership of all professionals who work with young people regardless of gender, race, marital status, disability, religion, age, creed, nationality, ethnic or national origin, social background or sexual orientation.
For over thirty years now we have been helping our members stay in the forefront of their profession through our publications, funding for training and study days.
We publish the Journal of Adolescence, which is an authoritative academic reference journal in the field. It is delivered free to our members and is also available on subscription from the publishers Elsevier Science.
