About APSA

APSA is a multidisciplinary association of professionals who work with, care for and care about adolescents.

Our aims are to promote the study, understanding and care of adolescents, generate new thinking about adolescent care, both residential and community-based and provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas and views.

We have an equal opportunities policy which encourages membership of all professionals who work with young people regardless of gender, race, marital status, disability, religion, age, creed, nationality, ethnic or national origin, social background or sexual orientation.

For over thirty years now we have been helping our members stay in the forefront of their profession with our publications, training, funding and conferences. Our on-line forum gives access to the accumulated knowledge and experience of our members and hosts discussions of topical interest.

We publish the Journal of Adolescence, which is the authoritative academic reference journal in this field. The Journal is delivered free to our members, and is also available on subscription from our agents Elsevier Science.

Our in-house magazine, Rapport, is essential reading for anyone working with adolescents.

This Journal has been published for 30 Years; it has 6 issues per year and a world wide circulation.

APSA Rapport is now in its 13th year, is circulated free to all APSA members and reflects practice- oriented issues.
